Annual Dinner 2023

In December 2023, the Sikh Sports Association Leicestershire proudly hosted its Annual Dinner at the Empire Hotel in Leicester.

The evening brought together distinguished guests, community leaders, members and supporters to celebrate achievements and contributions within the world of sport. It was a night dedicated to recognising excellence across disciplines including Kabaddi, Football, Karate, Hockey, Athletics and Wrestling.

The event welcomed over 120 attendees and was honoured by the presence of Claudia Webbe, Member of Parliament for Leicester East, who attended as Chief Guest. Her recognition of the dedication and sporting achievements within the Sikh community added great significance to the evening.

The atmosphere was one of unity, pride and camaraderie. As awards were presented and milestones acknowledged, the spirit of athleticism and community shone brightly. The Annual Dinner not only celebrated sporting success but also strengthened the bonds that unite our community.
