The Annual General Meeting is a key event in the Sikh Sports Association Leicestershire calendar and plays an essential role in shaping the direction of the organisation.
At the AGM held on 11th May 2024, a new committee was appointed to oversee the Association’s activities for the 2024–2025 period.
The meeting reflected the continued strength of community engagement and the commitment to sporting excellence that defines the Association.
On 31st May 2025, members elected the Annual General Body and committee who then lead the Association for the 2025–2026 term.
The elected body is then responsible for planning and overseeing the Association’s programmes, initiatives, and strategic direction for the year ahead.
The selected committee then organised and delivered the major Sports Event scheduled for August 2025, continuing the proud tradition of bringing the community together through sport, unity, and intergenerational participation.
Each year, the AGM provides members with the opportunity to review progress, appoint leadership, contribute ideas, and play an active role in the future development of the Association.
The next AGM will be held again in April–May, where members will have the opportunity to participate in the decision-making process for the upcoming term.
We warmly invite community members to join and become part of the Sikh Sports Association.
Membership allows you to:
